Hippy Clothes for dolls
For those of you into sewing for tiny people
Some of my doll clothing is cooler than others. Most of my fabric has been saved from garage and estate sales. I hate to see useful things go into the trash. I don’t buy thread that way, but fabric can easily be washed. This needs a cute hippy belt in the colors of the shirt. Probably a diamond pattern but I’m a slow bracelet maker as I never had many friends growing up, so I didn’t have much call to make friendship bracelets like my classmates. Nor would anyone teach me any patterns beyond a chevron.
Anyway, this was some green denim I washed to get that vintage acid wash look that was so popular in the 60s and 70s and a seersucker fabric for the peasant top which is also vintage to the era. I made this set a few years back, but I think it’s time to let it go to the Etsy store. I just need photos and… that pesky belt.
I used to do craft fairs, but I simply do not have time these days. Perhaps someday again, but right now I have a job that I have to be at every other weekend and my spouse is not able to run a booth by themselves these days nor do I have anyone else able to run such a booth that would work for free.
Anyone else make doll clothes? Show me your stuff!!

I have made several dolls and doll clothes for different dolls through the years. I find it annoyingly tiny but oh so satisfying to put on a doll and see the finished result. :-)
What dolls do you sew for?
